I have only just started becoming active in research/agent based modeling.
I find agent based computational economics interesting. I would also be interested in combining agent based modeling to explore cultural anthropology, government policies, socioeconomic stratification, and the diffusion of information.
I have a BS in Earth Sciences and a PhD in Resource and Environmental Economics. I have more than 25 years of experience doing research and teaching and advising students in systems thinking, scenario development, simulation, and ecological economics. Presently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computational & Data Sciences at George Mason University, and a member of the Center for Social Complexity. I teach the introductory courses on Computational Social Sciences at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as beginning and advanced courses in complex systems, modeling, and simulation. My current research focuses on the use of scenario development and integrated modeling as applied to social-ecological systems. My recent work has focused on applying these to issues related to climate change economics and policy, including new technologies for greenhouse gas removal and solar radiation management.
This is Saeed Abdolhosseini. I am very interested in the area of agent based modeling and it is about 3 years that I am working on Agent-Based Modeling. I have a good experience of working with Netlogo &Repast simphony & Anylogic. I have developed a few ABM application.
Specialties: Agent-based models of social systems
Agent Based Modeling
I am a computational archaeologist and Professor of Anthropology at San Diego State University, where I direct the Computational Archaeology Laboratory. My research integrates geospatial analysis, agent-based and simulation modeling, and complex adaptive systems theory to investigate long-term human–environment interactions, with particular attention to socio-environmental change associated with early farming and herding in Mediterranean and other semi-arid landscapes. I have conducted field and modeling research in regions including Italy, Jordan, and Central Asia, and my work spans landscape archaeology, land-use dynamics, and environmental modeling. I have been a member of the CoMSES community for well over a decade and have contributed multiple models to the Computational Model Library, several of which have undergone formal peer review. In addition to research, I regularly teach with agent-based models at undergraduate and graduate levels and use CoMSES models as both research and pedagogical resources. I am committed to open, reproducible, and theoretically informed computational modeling and to strengthening the role of peer-reviewed models as durable scholarly contributions.

I am interested in modeling social behavior. I have been working in the field of labor economics and industrial relations and how micro-simulations determine aggregate outcomes.
One of my research areas is agent-based modelling of land change in Brazil. I have worked with ABM in frontier areas of the Brazilian Amazon. I am also part of the team that develops TerraME, an OSS toolkit for ABM in cellular spaces.
My name is Elise but everybody calles me JobDiva! I’m a highly-skilled career writer with over 15 years of experience in resume writing and creating a story-telling cover letter. My approach in creating compelling cv for each job seeker demonstrated 100% success as an invitation for an interview. My aim is every talented person to find their calling. My goal is to help an experienced professional (or someone who is still taking their first steps in their career) to get what they want and achieve success in their career. This is an example of agriculture cover letter examples that will help you move forward in life. I hope the information I have provided will be useful to you! It doesn’t matter that you have no experience, the main thing is how hard you are willing to work!
As a Master’s Thesis student, I am intended to apply Artificial Intelligence to an already existing model with the aim of making it more accurate.
Even though I do not have the focus point and the scope of the research clear yet, the road map is set to start from a very simple model to validate the technology and methodology used and then continue with more abitiuos projects.
I like the co-operation that I have found in this space and I think that I could both learn a lot from the community and add value with my novel trials and findings.
Of course I would be pleased to update the status of my project and I would try to help if I have the proper knowledge or different angle to other peers who seek for seconds opinions.
Thank you,
Francisco
I develop simulation tools for generating what-if scenarios for decision making. I predominantly use Agent-Based Modelling (ABM) technique as most of my simulations model complex systems. In some cases, I have extended existing tools with modifications to model the given system. Although the tools are meant for research purposes, I have followed industry friendly delivery mechanisms, such as unit-tests, automated builds and delivery on cloud platforms.
I am a economic-social system engineer who have worked on costumer behavior for choice product by agent-based modelling. I have modeled a few ABMs for different fields as urban planning, E-cars, etc . I have translated 3 books based on ABM: anylogic, Netlogo, ABM in economics and accessible on ABModel.ir.
I’m working on new models about house buyers, news diffusion, prosumer decision, social network behavior, etc!
Basically I used Netlogo as base software, however I offer Anylogic for bachelors student.
Now, I’m try to model a macro-economic, p2p trading, etc. Also energy market is my interested.
Next, based on my work (as consultant), I will try to model investment and industry improvment.
Agent based modeling on economic and social systems. Also Netlogo and Anylogic softwares as ABM and system dynamic simulation.
