(EN) A place to discuss, experiment with, and disseminate the use of Agent-Based Models (ABMs) as tools for modeling and investigating complex phenomena.

The abundance of data, accessible computing power, and storage has revolutionized science and ushered an era of data-driven scientific discoveries. This talk will cover the challenges involved in capturing and managing computational provenance and examine the evolution of methods and tools that have been proposed to facilitate transparency and reproducibility.

It comes under the auspices of the Complex Systems Society. This edition, organized by SENAI CIMATEC, takes place after previous events hold in, Mallorca, Lyon, Singapore, Thessaloniki and Cancun.

The rapid growth of the field of Network Science in the last two decades has manifested in the form of schools, workshops and conferences in Ibero America. However, the creation of LANET as a stable and periodic forum devoted to Network Science will further spur the formation of research groups interested in the field and help to establish it as a discipline across Ibero American Universities and Research Institutions.

The MABS workshop aims to bring together researchers interested in MAS engineering and simulation, with researchers focused on understanding and finding efficient solutions to model complex social and socio-technical systems, in areas such as economics, management, organizational and social sciences in general.
